About Me
A Yorkshire-based interior designer and decorator, I have more than 20 years’ industry experience and am dedicated to creating inspirational, intelligent designs.
My love of developing my own portfolio of property while working in the hair, beauty and fashion industries, led me to a full time immersion in what was to become my true passion, beginning with a ground-up conversion of a collection of agricultural buildings and old farmhouses, which I successfully developed in 2006 into three, luxury multi-million pound dwellings.
A diverse selection of prestigious projects followed, including the design and decoration of a Swiss ski chalet, a Provencal ‘Mas’ farmhouse, coastal properties, city apartments, as well a number of domestic projects, resulting in my work being featured in a selection of key interior glossy magazines, including Country Homes & Interiors, 25 Beautiful Homes and Livingetc.

Spatial planning is my USP. The foundation of all successful projects, space has to flow; it must be logical, practical and functional before it becomes truly beautiful. I love working with natural materials – such as wood, stone, linen and silk – to create a home with depth and character, whatever your individual style.
I take a flexible, creative approach to any collaboration; my aim is to provide a warm, elegant, luxurious feel to any space, and I give depth and character through the use of one-off, quirky or vintage pieces to help personalise an interior and bring it to life. I can also source essential artwork – from framed posters to one-off pieces – and have access to a wide range of products, furniture and fabrics, each one intelligently sourced, curated and edited to suit you. This, alongside my portfolio of bespoke upholstered furniture – designed by Michelle Hyett Design and executed by local craftsmen – means you can be assured of a truly rounded approach to any scheme.
